GA Innovation , the GA Telesis and Air China Joint Venture Achieves Certification from the Civil Aviation Maintenance Association of China (CAMAC) for Aircraft Parts Distribution in the People’s Republic of China
December 17, 2013 – Beijing, China – GA Innovation China, the joint venture between GA Telesis and Air China, announced that it has successfully earned certification from the Civil Aviation Maintenance Association of China (CAMAC). GAIC’s quality system is now accredited and complies with the civil aircraft parts distributor quality system requirements of CAMAC, the most widely followed level of organizational and quality assurance certification standard available in China.
CAMAC is an aviation industry association registered under the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China. The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) issues guidelines to CAMAC for the qualification and accreditation of aviation materials distributors and recognizes CAMAC’s role in qualifying aviation industry organizations in China. CAMAC’s members include all the major Chinese airlines, maintenance units, and distributors in China.
